The Continental Cup
of Curling is an annual event (except for Olympic years) that North American and European curlers compete in a variety of
different curling games with the goal of earning enough points to win the cup. The games played are regular games, singles,
doubles and skins. Teams acquire points for each event.
|
In our version, there
will be two teams identified by a team name and color. Each team will participate in 4 games over the 3 days of competition:
Team Games, Singles, Doubles and Skins. Each team will have 24 players, 12 boys and 12 girls, and is lead by
a Team Captain and his staff. The team that earns the most points will win the ARCM Challenge Trophy.
This event brings together some of the best Junior Curlers in Montreal, including the teams
representing Quebec at the 2007 Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse and Provincial medallists. We hope you will come to
see the future of curling today!
